We have two different ways to do pricing at the studio:
The first way is a standard hourly rate. If you buy blocks of time, the hourly rate goes down depending on the number of hours purchased. This is how we usually price for voice over, video soundtracks, remastering projects or quick CD creation.
The second way, with extended multiple song recording, we can do hourly rates or do “project pricing” - come up with a total rate for the project depending on what the recording entails - number of songs, how many tracks are needed for each song, your recording budget (we do take that in to consideration), etc.
For most bands we record, a longer project should be able to be completed at a very reasonable rate - less than our typical hourly rates. We've found, having worked and recorded in other studios, that we usually beat other people's prices for the level of studio we have and quality of recording. If you'd like to call or tour the studio we can discuss details of your project and come up with a project price for you - you can also hear some samples of our studio work. Interested?
