ChurchHouse Productions was created to be a musician’s studio. As with most musicians starting out we recorded at many different studios. Through these experiences we found qualities that we liked and some that we didn’t like. The decision was made to buy some equipment and do some home demos on our own. As time went buy the wall of equipment grew. Each new piece of equipment was added one at a time to meet some need or help overcome an obstacle. Other musicians would stop by and we started doing some recording for them. Eventually the decision was made to open to the public. Years later the studio is still growing to meet new demands and needs and we see no reason to stop now. We want to continue to grow for years to come.
One thing we didn’t want was a sterile, "fishbowl" studio feel. Many musicians end up renting homes or old buildings to get a different feel. We had the fortune of starting in the converted church we remain in to this day (thus "ChurchHouse Productions"). All the equipment you need in a homey and warm setting of old wood and stained glass. As a result of the type of structure we work in, our facility has a variety of "sonic spaces" you won’t find at other studios. We provide open rooms with high ceilings, "dead sound" rooms, and isolation rooms that all have unique acoustic qualities. To get a view of our facility, please visit the ‘Studio’ page.
ChurchHouse Productions Studio is located just outside of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley. If you’re interested in visiting us in person, check out the Contact page for email, phone and directions. |
